The City of Mount Rainier was awarded a grant from Maryland's Department of Housing and Community Development, Community Legacy Program to support the development of the Town Center Business Attraction and Expansion Program (TCBAEP) for exterior and interior building improvements in Mount Rainier's Mixed-Use Town Center (M-U TC) zone.
The goal of the Town Center Business Attraction and Expansion Program(TCBAEP) is to support the City’s economic development goals to cultivate high-quality retail businesses in Mount Rainier’s Mixed-Use Town Center (M-U TC) zone.
All businesses* located within the M-U TC zone are eligible to apply. New businesses are also eligible.*
* Some restrictions apply.
The M-U TC Zone consist of licensed commercial businesses located on 34 Street and Rhode Island Avenue (Route One Corridor) in Mount Rainier, MD.
