Some PGCPS Summer Programs Closed July 17 and 18 in Areas Impacted by Water Outage
UPPER MARLBORO, MD -- Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) has announced that southeastern parts of the county will be under water restrictions or may be without water for the next few days as repairs are made to a concrete water supply line.
Due to the impending water outage, Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) will close the following summer programs on Wednesday, July 17, and Thursday, July 18. To view a complete list of the programs impacted by the closures, click here.

The make-up day for ESY and High School Credit Recovery summer programs will be Friday, July 26.
There will be no make-up day for Title I or other summer programs.
Communities likely to be affected by the water shortage include Camp Springs, Forest Heights, Hillcrest Heights, Temple Hills and Oxon Hill, including Joint Base Andrews and the National Harbor. WSSC is encouraging families to stock up on water now to ensure you have an adequate supply before water restrictions go into effect.
